Stress is a part of life, but experiencing the effects on a regular basis damages the body and the brain. Experiencing regular stress also damages brain cells, increasing the chance for mood disorders and dementia.

But, the good news is that the effects of even regular stress can be reduced by learning how to control the stress response, engaging in regular stress reducing activities, and maintaining a healthy diet.
